Cordell Parvin posted some interesting facts recently that help to illustrate something that likely doesn’t come as a surprise to most lawyers: it’s harder to find clients then it used to be.
The reasons are pretty clear – there are alot more lawyers, bigger law firms, and more demands on a lawyer’s time than ever before.
This doesn’t mean, of course, that it’s impossible to find clients. Many tried-and-true techniques still work, as do the “modern” versions of many of the same, as we just discussed the other day. But this reality should make one thing crystal clear – you can’t just sit back and expect clients to find you.
