Feedback from clients

Alison Shields had a nice article recently on how to best go about obtaining feedback from your clients.

Many lawyers like to talk a good game about all their happy and satisfied clients, but survey after survey shows that this is largely a product of the attorneys’ imagination and that most clients see little difference between them and another attorney. ¬†Obviously, this could quite easily led to replacement.

Obtaining and acting on feedback from your clients is one of the best ways to figure out what you are doing wrong (and right) and fix it before it becomes too late – ensuring your promises of being “client-centric” aren’t empty ones.
